या वेळी त्यांनी काही वर्षांपूर्वी मुंबईतील Dr. D. Y. Patil Stadium येथे सुरू केलेल्या अशाच sports centre ला मिळालेल्या जबरदस्त प्रतिसादाची आठवण करून दिली.
तसंच मुलं आणि मुलींना समान संधी, उत्तम training facilities आणि pressure-free वातावरण देण्यावर भर दिला.
Grassroots level पासून मजबूत foundation तयार करून भारतातील युवा खेळाडूंना पुढे नेण्याचा या academy चा उद्देश आहे.
